The Declaration of Independence says that; all of us hold these truths being self-evident, that all men are manufactured equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. These kinds of words were written over two-hundred years ago, and even then, the individuals believed in the value of equality. History reveals the discrimination of African-Americans and how each of our country has become incredible regarding racism, but now we have a form of splendour that is becoming more prevalent. This type of discrimination is to those of other sexual orientations, such as individuals who are gay, lesbian, or androgino. Discrimination, under any circumstances, is morally wrong, and discrimination based upon sexual orientation needs to be tackled. From a spiritual point of view, if perhaps God had thought homosexuality is a bad thing, he would not need created homosexual people. Even if people tend not to agree with gay and lesbian rights, gays have civil rights. America; the first thing which will come to mind can be described as nation of peace and equality, the land from the free and home from the brave. Nonetheless it is not really, right? All of us live in a nation of racism, sexism, and homophobia. Homosexuals get the worst of all the unfair treatment. Gays had been fighting pertaining to equal legal rights since the turn of the century, maybe even before then, however today in 2013, all those pleas for rights get unheard. Banning an issue such as gay marital life does not make it go on holiday. The American Constitution declares that everybody deserves similar, equal legal rights that include gay and lesbian people (James). So banning same-sex matrimony is unconstitutional. Making this issue illegal is also a form of discrimination. Homophobes poker fun at and mistreatment gay people, and homosexual teenagers are scared to go to school because of the excessive lovato and bullying, and gays are just becoming themselves (James). What is the reason why people get married for? Love is. Who is to judge an individual based and whom that they love? No one has the privileges to do so. Gays(i think they are sick) have emotions too, and them engaged and getting married isn't...
