J. Donald Walters once wrote, " Self-acceptance originates from meeting life's challenges strenuously. Don't numbing yourself to your trials and difficulties, neither build mental walls to exclude discomfort from your existence. Donald Walters was right. You have to fully stand up and deal with your issues, not load up them aside to deal with after, if you ever desire to find serenity. This is something Holden Caulfield learned through experience.

Holden Caulfield is a best example of a person in denial. Holden seems to assume that everything that occurs him is because of someone else's actions and that none of his mishaps came around because of his own poor view. He is question that he often makes terrible decisions. Soon enough, he gets over that, but won't get over the simple fact that this individual has constant issues that he needs to be aware about and start to resolve. Holden skins his feelings and challenges just like he packs away his belongings in suitcases. Once he can done taking his suitcases, he puts them out of sight or a lock them up. It's like Holden won't want to leave people get acquainted with the true Holden because he won't want to look attached to others because he is definitely afraid that whenever he's the closest he can be to someone, he will probably screw up and finish up hurt. Holden is not really the only one that feels this way but that does not mean he can't make an effort to be him self and let other folks get to know one of the most of him. Maybe in the event he started receiving closer to people he would realize that the world is usually not best and that it will have times when you get injure or a thing happens that you just can't correct, like dropping someone near to you.
